Getting Started
Industry standards typically mandate at least one to two years of relevant experience, and passing the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is a prerequisite. The emphasis on experience ensures that travelers can seamlessly adapt to diverse healthcare settings. While it might be tempting to embark on a travel career right after graduation, gaining foundational experience in a more stable environment is advisable before venturing into the dynamic world of travel nursing or allied health professions.
To get started, you can visit our website and complete the online application form. Provide us with your contact information, professional background, and preferences. Once we receive your application, our team will review it and reach out to discuss potential opportunities that match your qualifications and interests, or you can give us a call at: (866) 440-2445
Our staffing process involves the following steps:
You submit your application and certifications.
- Our team reviews your application and matches you with suitable job opportunities that match your search criteria.
- Once you have selected the opportunity that you would like to be submitted to, your Recruiter will submit your customized submission packet with your credentials to the client.
- If selected, we coordinate interviews between you and the facility.
Once you accept an assignment, we connect you with your designated credentialing specialist to streamline the credentialing process.
Qualifications and experience criteria differ based on the role and facility. In essence, we ask all candidates to possess the necessary licensure and certifications for their respective professions. Additionally, a minimum of two years of prior experience in the field, coupled with at least one year of recent acute-care experience in the specific unit you're applying for, is a standard requirement.
The timing for applying for a travel nursing assignment is entirely up to you – there's no strict guideline for when you should apply. We've experienced a wide range of timelines with our nurses: some apply and take a year to commit to their first assignment, while others are quick to decide and embark on their journey within weeks or even days. If you're considering travel nursing or anticipate being ready soon, we suggest submitting an application to be well-prepared for the right opportunity. Should you choose to apply well in advance, we will securely store your information and maintain communication with you until you're ready to start.

Credentialing
Credentialing is a thorough verification process where we gather and confirm your personal and professional documents. This ensures that you meet the standards and requirements of our client healthcare facilities. It's a crucial step to maintain the high quality and reliability of our nursing staff. This vital process encompasses several steps, including:
- Conducting thorough background checks
- Implementing drug and alcohol screening tests
- Verifying up-to-date vaccination records
Generally, you’ll need to provide proof of identification, nursing qualifications, relevant certifications, and work history. This includes your nursing license, CPR certification, immunization records, and any specialty certifications you may have.
The time frame can vary, but it usually takes a few weeks. We strive to complete it as quickly as possible, but the duration largely depends on how swiftly you can provide your documents and the response times of verifying institutions.
