Job Details:

• Pay: $ per week (to be updated)

• Positions Open: 4

• Duration: 13 weeks 

• Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)

• First-timers accepted: Yes - minimum 1 year ECMO specialist experience

• Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend

• Is on-call RE:? Yes- On-call required as needed for the department.

• Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs: Will float as needed

• Pending License accepted: Yes but must be active at start.

• RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.

• Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts

• Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care

• Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable): Magnet / Teaching / Level III Trauma

• Total Staffed Beds: 672

• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue (provided) or Olive Green (Traveler own)

• Charting: Excellian/Epic

• Required Work Setting Experience: Adult Critical Care

• Skills/Experience: BiPAP, CPAP, Patient Transport (inter-departmental and ambulance transport), SIMV (Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: ABG interpretation, Chest Physiotherapy: Vest, Chest Physiotherapy, Drawing arterial blood gases

Requirements:

• Active Unrestricted MN License

• BLS, ACLS, PALS by American Heart Association - required

• RRT required

• Must have at least 2 years RRT and 1 year ECMO Specialist experience

• Must be able to provide 2 supervisory references
